WE ARE X!!!

X was fucking amazing. we ended up saizen on Pata's side after getting there about 5 hours early. they played:

and then TEARS played as an outro.

this was when Yoshiki was soundchecking his own kit, which was cool to see in itself. everyone was already chanting for them an hour or so before they came on.

I.N.A was wandering around as well, but i don't have any pictures of him - there are a ton of pictures from the live itself on flickr though, and the band was just covered on ABC world news a few minutes ago. people who'd never heard of them were getting really into it at lollapalooza, and by the end pretty much everyone was doing the X jump. most of the reviews are good, which is even better. hopefully they'll keep coming back.

everything is awesome, pretty much. i have about 4.00 in my bank account atm but i'll definitely scrounge up the money to see them if they come to chicago again.

got lady gaga's heartbeats!! the sound quality is actually really good. they're comfortable too, and it's rare of me to say that about an ear bud. i prefer regular headphones most of the time but unfortunately mine have been broken for a while, so this is pretty much my christmas present to myself.

also got my hair cut a while ago. it's already grown out a lot which sucks, i need to get it trimmed already. i'll probably fix the fringe up myself before i head off to school. speaking of which, i'm going to be going here:

Paul Mitchell the School Chicago. silky smooth, ahahaha. god the people who go here have to be so tired of those jokes. i leave on december 1st and it goes for about a year on average, but if i keep myself on schedule and don't miss any huge number of days i'll graduate in October of 2010, which is what i'm aiming for. i've been busy as hell all week shopping and packing and last minute dentist / optometrist / whatever the fuck else and i've still got one more dentist appointment, a bank trip, orientation on the 25th and i actually head down to move my stuff in on the 28th. hopefully that'll go smoothly enough and i won't need to make 50 more shopping trips.

...and now that this does for my longest entry since the one about monhan i'm going back to Assassin's Creed. LJ should really aspire to be more like ameba maybe then I'd actually use it. k bye.
