Hi all—Hope you are doing well! After a few weeks of investing in scaling infrastructure, we're excited to pick up the pace of client features. Here's what new in today's release...
•
Create a club directly in the app! Have an idea for a recurring show you'd like to host, a community you want to start, or a private group you'd like to bring together? Now you can create a club for it directly in the app! Just go to your profile, scroll to the end of your list of clubs, and tap the "+" button.
Please note that for now, you won't be able to start a club until you've spoken a few times and generally been active in the community... but most people should be eligible, and we'll be opening it up more broadly soon!
Also, if you submitted a club request previously we'll be shooting you an email to let you know you can now create it in the app, along with your club title and description so you don't have to retype those. :)

Switch to higher quality audio [beta]. Now when you're speaking in a room you can tap the "..." button to change the quality of the audio that others hear when you speak. If you're performing a song, you can switch Audio Quality to High so others can hear you in your full glory :) ...and if you're somewhere with bad service, you can switch it to Low to keep your audio from cutting out. By default, it will be set to Standard.

Fix for cross-border invites. We fixed an issues where the country codes were getting confused when you tried to invite friends who live in other countries. If you think your invites might have been affected, feel free to go to the invite screen, view your Pending invites, and try sending them again. Sorry for the troubles there!

Improvements to accessibility / VoiceOver. We tuned the way our VoiceOver feature works, adding better support for things like in-app toasts and speaker invitations. Special thanks to The 15% club for the help on this!

Improvements to troll reporting. We make some adjustments to how reporting works for trolling to better investigate incidents and reduce false positives.

Simpler calendar options. We removed the option to see "All Events," since this view was getting out of hand. 😅
•
Better follow suggestions for international users. Now when you sign up from a non-U.S. location, you'll get better follow suggestions, so you can more easily connect with people who speak the local language.
Next up: We're working on some more features that we're hoping to push out later this week!
