review=As the wavering cry of the foghorn fills the air, the taciturn former lumberjack, Ephraim Winslow, and the grizzled lighthouse keeper, Thomas Wake, set foot in a secluded and perpetually grey islet off the coast of late-19th-century New England. The first time I watched this trailer, I thought that sound the back was a clock ticking (for some reason) Now after watching this trailer again, I realize it's the sound of the witch mashing up the. wow I'm now even more disturbed.
Stephen King said this movie terrified him...
Watched it last night. It was really good but I didn't get scared as I was watching it. It was only after I did that the music keeps haunting me & I keep remembering the some of the witch's scenes.

This movie is incredibly slow, weird and boring. You can think of a much better script for your own outer-space movie while watching this one, without missing anything. It's that slow...

I havent seen this but thia mysteryious tension it has with the black and white gives me twilight zone vibes.
Best film of 2019. Felt like a 70s film. Pacing was phenomenal. Great storytelling. No pandering to make the lead character virtuous. Every moment of chaos was worth it.

I can see the Dark Knight in Pattison deep down, he's going to kill the role.
That beginning scene is so unfortunate lol I felt for him.

Excellent movie and right behind Above The Rim for favorite basketball movie.
Props to whoever was the animal handler for this film. The goat, it's reactions, and it's movement are some of the most oddly disturbing things I've ever seen put to film without CGI. Well played.
