This pot is "Yakiimo nabe". A pot to make baked sweet potatoes.
This is one of my most necessary things in the winter time.
Put potatoes into this pot, put it on the stove, leave it for a couple of hours, then baked sweet potatoes done!!
It's very delicious!!

Today I went to a Shrine named "Mitsuke-tenjin" neaby my house.

http://www.mitsuke-tenjin.com/index.html

In here, there is a god of study, so during the entrance test season, many entrance test takers come

here to pray for passing the exam.

They also draw an "omikuji" and write a wish in an "ema".

Omikuji are written fortunes which can be obtained by drawing lots in most Shinto shrines and Buddhist temples.

Ema are the wooden tablets. It is said that when you write a wish in the ema, then it will come true.

There is also "Torii" in Shrine.

Torii literally means "a perch for birds." It is said that they were originally perches for the roosters people offeed to srine.

And also it marks the entrance to a sacred area.

I tried to attach some pictures to this article, but I failed...

I have to learn more how to write a blog...

See you (^0^)/
