Trip to Sado
It likes the name of an Irish tune😂

The trip was at the beginning of August, already more than one month ago! It was the first trip that I came back to Japan because of the pandemic. Yeah, the pandemic was not over yet; however, as older people got vaccines, I felt a bit relaxed and gave up on this trip last year. So it was a revenge trip! It was two nights and three days.
Sado island belongs to my prefecture called Niigata. I went there on a school trip when I was 12. But of course, I don't remember anything!

Especially two things excited me; I like the island and coast (I planned to drive around the island coast) and go around in my car.🚙 Also, I got a great company who travelled to some parts of Ireland with me in 2019. Travel reunion😎

We got on the car ferry to Sado island.🛳️ It took two hours and a half from Niigata bay to Ryotsu bay.  Driving into the car ferry, I felt like going into a whale's belly, maybe a whale. We walked around the ship, seeing seagulls that following the boat because people gave snacks to them! (like crisps). I could see they used to do that.

We jumped out from the belly. So let's go on an adventure with pretty my car. Her physical information is as follows:
15years old, running over 130000km, 660cc, 4WD, length 3.4m, and light blue.  It is a very tiny car! She was my buddy!
The first day, we went to the top of the south part and then drove up a mountain along a very narrow road, could not pass two cars! We were praying that vehicles were not coming from the opposite direction.  We were lucky enough. We could hear birds singing and the murmur of a stream, so quiet and mysterious place. While diving, I saw lools like an eagle standing in the middle of the road. Getting closer and closer, it didn't move. It was surprising and so beautiful. Eventually, it flew up and led us up to the mountain. It wasn't easy to drive up the mountain because the all way to the top also was very rapid. If we had stopped, we couldn't have gone up when I considered my car!'s potential! It climbed very slow even I pressed harder on the accelerator as much as possible! We saw magnificent views there and got down safely.

The second day, I had driven more than eight hours. My friend said that I looked like a truck driver🤣 It's true! I like to drive very much, so I didn't mind it even though we sometimes got lost!! We stopped at some places to see views and swim in the sea. We bathed, and just there, we could see fish on our feet. I have never seen these beautiful things! We were excited about watching fish.

On the third day, it was the hottest day of this year. We went to "Sado Kinzan", it is a mountain which used to contain gold. We walked the hole which people used to dig gold. In there, the temperature was 13degrees and outside was 39degrees! Heaven! I drove up another mountain again. haha. A road was wider than another mountain. But it was still very rapid. I heard wheezing breathe from my car, and it moved very slow. I shouted to my car, "don't give up" haha Because of the lack of power in my car, I had to turn off the air-conditioner. 39degrees outside..... It was a tough decision, but if not, my car might not move!! We finished all adventure and got into a whale's belly again to return to the Niigata bay.

Overall, the weather was too lovely, and  I enjoyed it so much with my company. I got a sunburn. My friend said to me that nobody gets a tan over 40years-old women in Japan. (because a definition of our beauty is white skin and no flecks) It made me laugh because I forgot about that.
