Price fluctuations are not evil.
We have been able to deal with it
since the 1990s (last century!)
using a technique called swaps, which fixes fluctuations.
The problem is companies ( or legal entity )
that do not adopt such techniques and organisations
that avoid the hassle of mark-to-market accounting.
