Washington Memorial. When will we have peace?

Another bomb attack planned from a flight to the U.S from London. Why is the U.S always under threats? Everyone knows why. I thought the U.S was a land of liberty, peace and union ("united" states, right?). But right now, I can only see discrimination, prejudice, selfishness, and strong desire for war in this country. what does this Washington Memorial stand for? What is peace? What is freedom?

My best friend wanted to look at a garage sale near Desiderio Park and we were tehre for a while. I bought a nice olive plate too! I will post a photo later. While we were there, I saw a beautiful house on the other side. Pink flowers, my favorite. Che bella avere i colori nella vita.
