"I will be a wedding dress designer when I grow up so I thought I would start as soon as possible, so I did," said Sollinger.

Sollinger has been designing clothes since she was 8 years old. She loves it because it gives her the ability to create whatever she wants.

7-year-old Leilani Corpuz is also a young designer. She has created many designs. She was inspired to become a fashion designer because of her mom.

"She watched me sow," said Graciela Moreno, Corpuz's mom, "I would do little things for her here and there, and when she got older, she was like can I do that?"

Corpuz and Sollinger both attend Cheryl Scrimshire's Fashion School, I-Design.

"We do everything you can imagine, from bedsheets to dog clothes," said Scrimshire. And of course, clothes.

13-year-old Abigale Waters is also a student of Scrimshire's. She said making her own clothes has made her quite popular in school.

"I would go up to school and everyone would ask me where I got it and I said I made it so people know me for that now," said Waters.

They are all going to be a part of the Reno Fashion Show. They have been preparing for it for quite sometime.

Moreno attributes her daughter's skill set to Scrimshire's lessons.

"Before she was always really scared," said Moreno, "After 2 years, she is now designing her own things and telling Cheryl what she wants. So it is amazing to see how far she has come."
