I have been working in the military for over 30 years, so presently, I am seeking for retirement from the Military. I have already sent letter to the headquarters for them to know about my retirement, i gave reasons for this to be personal, so now, I am waiting for the acceptance and clearance about my retirement.
If you ask me what i am going to do after my retirement, this is what you need to know, Korea has been the country that I really want to come and stay and spend the rest of my life so that i can easily forget about the past. You know korea is so big, noisy and congested and i can easily find forgetfulness of the hard time, sad life and the military life i have had so far. i want new thinking and with a caring hearted woman that will accept me and my daughter to start a family with.
You know i really do not want to go back to the united state,all my life i have lived in the army,i do not have friends in the United State and due to the sad life i have experience in the past,i do not want to go back there,i want to start a new life with the woman i'll find and build a happy home with her
When i was very much younger i never knew i will join the military,i'm the only son from my parents,i was 15years old when my parents died in an auto crash,i was raised in the orphanage,due to the pains, loneliness, sadness, bitterness and no one to show me some parental love and care, i decided to join the United State military. I was hoping i will find love and happiness in the military. I never knew life in the military is a matter of life and death.
I'm an Army graduate,as an Army graduate, i earned a Bachelor of Science degree and i was commissioned as second lieutenants in the U.S. Army. I attended The United State Military Academy at West Point. The United States Military Academy at West Point is one of the most selective colleges in the country and Most people know it as West Point but its official name is the United States Military Academy. It was found over a century ago the United States Military Academy is one of the oldest, most prestigious and well known military academies and institutions of higher learning in the United States. It is considered by many, including Forbes, Princeton Review and the U.S. News and World Report, to offer one of the best liberal arts educations in the nation. When i was in school then, I was a Cadet and I completed 26 core classes and i added computer outloook to my class. All cadets at West Point are required to serve in the army, both domestically and abroad, during the third and fourth years of their academic program.
Presently in the Military, I work here in syria as one of the Chiefs NCO of the NATO team to check matters affecting the Signal Regiment withing the eight personnel lifecycle management functions which are Structure, acquisition, individual training and education, distribution, deployment, sustainment, professional development and separation.
I am in the position to give out order and instruction to other junior soldiers, supervise the morning training, pass information to the headquarters, sometimes i go to patrol to check other soldiers if they are doing their work and to write report about them.
I also send radio information to other bases here to know exactly what is happening in other base. I have lots of Soldiers working under me and i do not keep friends. The only friend i have is my daughter and I feel happy anytime i read mail from her.
From 4:45am to 6:30am in the morning, there is always training section. I resume fully my daily duties by 9:00am in the morning, my lunch time is 1:00pm after my lunch time, i have to resume duty by 2:30pm then i finish with my daily work by 5:30pm.
During this closing hours, i order instruction to other soldier colleagues on how to know how to information and fax messages to the headquarters. what you need to know also is that, there maybe an emergency and it will require me and i have to attend to every emergency for the safety of my men. so with this, my time may varies. and sometimes at night, there can also be intruders and information from other base for proper security check up. so all these make me busy always. and my work is on contract basis. now i am on contract work for the United State government. I have less than few weeks to work here now and return back home.
