HMVのオンラインでやっている70％オフセールで、CDが破格の安さだったので、8枚ほど購入。
定額給付金に感謝です！！
最近、CDは買わずにItunesやAmazonでダウンロードばかりだったので、久々にCDを買って、歌詞カードもついてるし、やはりCDはいいなぁ～と改めて実感。
それに、CDだとパソコンが壊れても心配しなくてもいいのが良いですよね・・・
まず１枚目は昨年話題となっていた、Makioのアルバム“Makio” \815
アルバムを通して全体的にスローな感じです。
声も聞いてて凄く心地よく、これからの活躍に期待です。
2枚目は元Blackstreetのメンバー、Dave Hollisterの “Book of Davis” \720
曲は全体的に正統派R&Bで聞きやすいです。
彼の人生をテーマにしたアルバムなのですが、ゴスペルなので、キリスト教では無い私には歌詞が若干うざったいです・・・笑
まず一枚目は、COVERS JAMAICA～REGGAE MEETS R&B/HIPHOP
”So Sick"や”We Belong Together"などのヒット曲が予想以上にうまくレゲエ風にアレンジされていて、
聞いてて心地いいです♪ ”So Sick"など普段聞いてて、ちょっとせつなくなる様な曲もレゲエ風だと何故かリラックスできるから不思議です。いつもジョギングしながら聞いてます♪
二枚目はJoeの"Ain't Nothin Like Me"
彼の曲を聞くのは、2001年に発売されたアルバム”Better Days"以来だったのですが、やはり聞いてて落ち着きます。
あとはBobby Valentinoのアルバム、”Bobby Valentino"と””Special Occasion"の二枚
最近、彼の名前を知ったのですが、”Slow Down"など聞き馴染みの曲もあり、なかなか良さそう。

60年代を思わせる曲調が何とも懐かしく、だけど何故か凄く新鮮で、初めて聞いた瞬間に衝撃を受けました！！
失恋をテーマにした歌詞が何とも切なく、恋人に最後の別れを告げに行くタクシーの中で彼女がずっと涙を流しているだけのPVがさらに切なくさせます。 凄くシンプルなPVが逆にめずらしく気に入ったので、アメリカのITunesでPVを$1.49でダウンロード。
