/バッファローの理論

A herd of buffalo can move only as fast as the slowest buffalo.
バッファローの群れは、
群れで一番遅いバッファローにあわせて動きます。
When the herd is hunted,
バッファローの群れが狩りにあう時、
it is the slowest and weakest ones at the back that are killed first.
一番後ろの一番遅くて一番弱いバッファローが最初に殺されます。
This natural selection is good for the herd as a whole,
これは群れ全体にとっては良い事です。
because the general speed and health of the whole group
なぜなら群れの移動速度や健康具合が
keeps improving by the regular killing of the weakest members.
一番弱いバッファロー達が殺される事で定期的に向上するから。
In much the same way the human brain can only operate
このケースと同じように、人間の脳も
as fast as the slowest brain cells.
一番遅い脳に合わせてしか働きません。
Excessive intake of alcohol, we all know, kills brain cells,
過剰なアルコールの摂取は、皆さんもご存知の取り、脳細胞を殺します。
but naturally it attacks the slowest and weakest brain cells first.
しかし自然と一番遅くて一番弱い脳細胞が殺されます。
In this way regular consumption of beer
ある意味では、定期的にビールを飲む事は
eliminates the weaker brain cells,
弱い脳細胞を削除する事になり、
making the brain a faster and more efficient machine.
脳をより早い効率的なマシンに変える事となります。
That's why you always feel smarter after a few beers.
ビールを２～３杯飲んだ後、賢くなった気がするのはそのためです。

"cat out of ｔｈｅ bag"（キャット アウト オブ ザ バッグ）で
『情報/秘密を漏らす』って意味があります。

スペイン語で
"rico"と書いて
リコ（『リ』は巻き舌にして『るりぃコ』って感じ）と読んで
『美味い』『美味しい』って意味。
普通に言うと『美味しい』は
”delicioso”（デリシオソ）なんだけど、
これぢゃあんまりにも教科書通りでつまらない。
メキシコ人と一緒にご飯を食べる機会があったら
是非"!Muy Rico!"と言ってみて☆
