I forgot to write about my weekend.
I was really busy up until just now.

Let's see. . .
On Thursday I went back to Orlando to stay the weekend.
Friday, I had work. Not that it was really difficult work, since we don't have a lot to do on Fridays, so my boss took me shopping to find a new therapeutic bed for her sick husband.
I got to play with remotes and massaging beds. :D And there was a dust mite stuffy, he was so cute. ( ゚Д゚) The store clerk let me take him home with me. My boss named him Dusty, I think it's a good name.

Then OOOOさん came over and stayed for dinner with my family. HAPPY♪

Saturdayyy, I went to a party with Orlando friends. I am so bad at bowling. (T▽T;)

And Sunday, I got to spend time with my mum. We went to a local flea market, which is one of the biggest in the state. I got a panda ring, some new earrings and new pants. And then OOOOさん let me borrow a pair of glasses for the week. My favourite pair too~

I was busy all day with class though. I slept into 11, then had to rush through getting ready and had class until 6:00PM. Then I had to read 100 pages for class, which took me longer than usual because a lot of it is in Spanish. x_x;

Class is at 9:00 tomorrow morning, so sleep seems nice right now.
Night~
. . .

Why am I taking this class again?

I couldn't even come up with relevant drawings.

On a happier note, Yogi met Orion today.
It was completely adorable.

Yogi

Even though he thinks cameras are scary.

Hihi!
I just had my first day of classes.
I've been up since 7:30, and I have class at 9:45, so I don't really know why I'm still awake.

First of all, I got into Japanese!
To those who sent me words of encouragement, thank you!

To be honest, I think this level is a little lower than what I took last.
But I don't really mind since it's been a year since I've taken a Japanese class.
I really just need some help getting back into the habit of studying.
Hopefully they have something else I can take in the spring. . .

I forgot about most of my other classes, Japanese was the most fun.
British literature might be fun once we start talking about Oscar WIlde.

And then I got my bass strings changed tonight!
Except. . . I was so upset.

[start, really long upset rant ( ゚Д゚) ]

At guitar stores. strings have to be stored carefully so they don't kink. So the clerks have to get the strings for you.
I told the clerk what kind of strings I wanted, as well as the sort of sound I wanted my bass to make, and asked if she could recommend any brands. The other clerk stopped for a moment to tell her which brand to get.
So the clerk I had went to the strings, asked if I wanted thicker or thinner strings. I told her thicker. So she grabbed some, and brought me. . . strings for a 5-string bass? ( ゚Д゚) I mentioned that I play a 4 string, so she went away and brought back another pack. I paid for them and went home.
And I went to go restring Ikawa, and I realised. . . she had gotten me the thinnest bass strings possible for that brand.
I AM SO SAD. I'm the sort of person that goes through strings quickly, and thinner strings will break and .lose their sound a lot faster. Bass strings are really expensive, so I really needed those thicker strings. . .
Plus, these strings have a really crisp, sort of sad sound that resembles the sound preferred by blues bassists. I generally like the upbeat, jazzy Reika-like music. So I'm stuck playing blues for a while. . . not a genre I'm familiar with. It's fun, sure. But after playing blues for 2 hours straight? I miss my usual stuff.
