She basically remembered what he said earlier. In the Japanese version, we hear a repeat of the line. It must've been a translating error.

because this ending is too sad i was on the verge of tears.. ;_;
I prefer this one simple because its bittersweet ending has more depth and meaning. If you ever read the classic fairy tales, be warned that many are dark and don't always have a happy ending. Often they have a deeper message underneath.
