Fact check: Could your December cough actually have been coronavirus? Experts say more research is needed - USA Today Mar. 26, 2020

I am not one for conspiracy theories, at all. However, I do believe that my crazy illness I contracted last year was likely an early mutation of covid 19.

Just after Halloween of 2019, I got a sniffle. This developed into a runny nose, and then just when things were about to look better, I got slammed with hell.

I probably had a temperature but didnt check it. My body felt terrible: achy, weak, no appetite. Through the seven day course I lost like 6 or 7 lbs.

The cough was the worst, though. Relentless. I'm also asthmatic so this thing lasted until Christmas. It was the sickest I've ever been.

My theory is this was a less contagious strain.
