Dear supporters and friends of our campaign,
In November of 2019, we will launch our campaign "Keep the Olympic Games out of radioactive regions". The campaign is directed at the International Olympic Committee (IOC) and the Japanese government, which is trying to use the Olympic Games to divert attention from the ongoing nuclear catastrophe and the precarious situation of the people in the contaminated areas in the north-east of the country.
The campaign is designed as an international petition:

"Keep the Olympic Games out of radioactive regions"
The Olympic Games in Tokyo are just around the corner. We call them the "Radioactive Olympics", because Japan is still suffering from the
radioactive fallout of several nuclear meltdowns in Fukushima in 2011.
We oppose the attempt to use the Olympic Games to simulate normality in the contaminated regions.
We appeal to the International Olympic Committee (IOC) and the Japanese government to relocate the baseball and softball competitions from Fukushima City and the torch relay from the contaminated regions of Fukushima Prefecture to other venues.
We stand in solidarity with the people of Fukushima affected by radioactivity. The Olympic Movement has to address their situation.
