Poker Edge Review
Tournament Poker Edge - Opinions? The beginning classes second video is title 'Expert Level Hand Analysis' and it's all just hand review. WSOP Main Event Final Tableist Lee Childs reviews his FTOPS final table run for Tournament Poker Edge. 'After years of reading many poker books and watching video tutorials, nothing seemed to make a big difference in my tournament results. I was in that 95% zone of losing players most of the time. With a multitude of training videos, tournament podcasts and strategy forums all geared towards MTT’s the website can justly claim that 'Tournament Poker Edge is a poker community dedicated exclusively to multi-table tournaments.'

What Makes Poker Edge Stand Out?
There is a big choice when it comes to poker tracking software for players. The problem when new players purchase poker tracking software such as Poker Office or Holdem Manager is that the HUD stats are limited. You need to play for many hours before you can build up hand history on the players at your table to make the HUD stats reliable (e.g. AG, VPIP, PRR).
This is where Poker Edge makes a big difference. Rather than having to store your own collection of stats on your computer (which takes up space also), Poker Edge comes with a remote central database which contains billions of hand history on different players. The benefits of Poker Edge are imminent – you will have instant overlay stats and “reads” on every single opponent at the table. Poker Edge’s central database grows by 10 million+ hands each day giving you a massive advantage of everyone else.
Poker Edge’s Other Features
Tournament Poker Edge Review Cnet
Poker Edge is more impressive than 99% of software on the market. It boasts a collection of features including Detailed Player Reports, Calculator and Table Finders. The player reports and post-game breakdowns help a lot when you’re trying to improve and find cracks in your game that are holding you back. New users will have no problem getting to terms with its functional menu layout and nav system plus the graphs have excellent graphics and are customisable e.g. players can analyse their aggressiveness at each street.
What I like most about Poker Edge is the Notifications action, which pops up on your computer whenever you are dealt a particular hand or hit a straight. This is especially useful for multi-tabling and can be customised for practically anything.
The HUD Stage technology is another thing out of this world. Poker Edge’s HUD screen lets you choose to display overlay stats for each street for each player at the click of a button. As opposed to having stationary stats, Poker Edge provides the more relevant stats as the hand progresses.
Which Rooms Support Poker Edge?
Poker Edge works for over 30 different poker rooms including Full Tilt Poker, Poker Stars and Partypoker. You can check on the Poker-Edge.com website for exactly which poker rooms are safe to use.

Tournament Poker Edge Review
Verdict: 8/10
Tournament Poker Edge is a focused MTT poker training site with hundreds of videos, articles, professional instructors and a forum. It is one of the best places to imrove your MTT game and I can happily recommend it.
Tournament Poker Edge (TPE) Review
As far as poker training sites go there aren’t many that focus exclusively on MTTs. This is what Tournament Poker Edge does and I have to say I’ve been impressed by their offer.
Because of their focus on MTTs from the beginning, most of their content is relevant to MTT players including al their articles and videos. Their videos explain every aspect of tournaments including positional play, marginal pre-flop spots and when to “shove”.
The MTT video quality is one of the highest you’ll find. At the moment TPE has 100 MTT videos and released about 5 new ones per week. They are all fresh, up to date and cover different poker sites’ tournaments and stakes. Of course we aren’t all high stakes $100 MTT players, so the fact they spread their MTT videos across micro, low and mid-stakes games is a bonus in my opinion. NLHE is the main focus, as this is the predominant section of the market.
TPE has lots of other teaching methods too, including forums and over 100 MTT articles and blogs. The quality of these is extremely high and all are based on real-life hands that the pros have played through.
Coaches & Team
Derek “Killingbird” Tenbusch (founder and contributor
The coaches and roster at TPE is impressive. All of them are successful tournament players who have made it big time and who make for quality teachers.
Charles “Hagbard Celine” Sizemore has won nearly every regular online tournament at least once including the UB $200k Gt and Stars WCOOP Second Chance Event.
Ryan “HITTHEPANDA” Franklin and Janothan Wein also have accomplished more success than most in MTTs. Wein has reached the final table of the Sunday Million on PokerStars twice and was recently #1 on the officialpokerrankings.com before being taken over by bigdogpckt5s” Jarzabek – who also works for TPE!
Conclusion
If you’re game is purely MTT-based then I recommend TPE above all other training sites. I think the $19.95/month price is very cheap for the excellent and focus and quality of MTT training.
Although Deuces Cracked and similar poker training sites have a lot of MTT videos, I think the extra focus on tournaments TPE has makes it more valuable – you don’t have to scroll through tons of irrelevant videos for example to find what you’re looking for, plus 90% of the forums are MTT based.
