After about 45 minutes ride, we ate the famous herring. People say it's too fishy, but we liked it!

There is another indoor garden! This one is mostly for different kinds of tulips. There are so many kinds of flowers here. 3500 kinds??? If I am not mistaking hearing the boat tour narration.

I love flowers. My hobby was gardening until I started playing guitar again. I enjoyed so much, but too bad for Kenny. He likes man made stuff. Without drinking, it was not his thing lol てへぺろ

Well I really wanted to be in the middle of blooming tulip field. From the bus window on the way back, we saw some people were actually walking on the field. Damn it! We missed it! Walking there from the park is quite far even it looked closer because of the open space. The field was not fully covered with blooming tulips, but some parts looked nice. My battery ran out here. From here is taken by Ken's iPhone 6.

This strawberry tea was so delicious! Smashed strawberries and lemons in the tea and not too sweet. Finnish and Dutch do not like too much sweet. We are the same way.

I took too many pictures to choose from! We were at Keukenhof. This is one of the reason I came to Netherlands. Unfortunately it was cloudy for photos, but we have two day train tickets must be used. Hoping to see the sun later.

Looked like there was a boat going to the field. I was more interested in the huge tulip field than the park. We bought the boat tickets! One hour to kill until the next boat, we went to the indoor garden.

Deja vu! I remember seeing this view before. Is it from a guide book or YouTube? Weird that I feel like I have been here before and taken a picture (it doesn't mean I was here earlier on the way). Very similar look in an amusement park or something.

Beautiful ladies! Pictures of girls are not allowed. Everywhere was filled with tourists.

After breakfast, we rested until 3pm to go sightseeing. Earlier it was raining. Also I wanted to save our energy to stay out late to see Red Light district. Everywhere was super crowded because it was Saturday. We decided to do 1hr canal cruise operated by Lovers. I told Ken to wear a jacket because we would be on the water. Later he kept complaining being too hot and pissed me off. Because of the weather and my mood, pictures are not great in colors here.

The tour guide is an extremely nice guy. When I said my feet were cold, he put me on the high chair and put my feet on the table closer to the fire. He put his hand in the fire and touched my knee saying transferring the heat.  His hand is fine in the fire! He served us his mom's home made cookies and blueberry tea, which is very popular in Finland. However it was painfully cold! I didn't want to go to the bathroom outside! Snow is like 2 meters high! The tour stared at 7:30pm and about three hours later, the aurora finally showed up!

It didn't have a big difference from the outside of our glass igloo or from the outside of his cabin on the mountain, but the different seanaries and more openness made a difference. These shots are from the snowtank. We saw the moon together!

Well we saw moving lights again. Fast and wiggling. This time just like UFOs. I said "Ken! Look! What are they?" No pictures here. The camera didn't catch them well. Then a lady said "They are just....." and stopped. Because nobody's camera was on. That means not a reflection. I can distinguish reflections from the lights on the sky by sitting by the window for more than half an hour! Plus I had seen all the movements of stars from the glass igloo, but this time looked appearently obvious that something I have never seen before. It's funny that Ken's friend from here gave a warning for UFOs before we left for this trip.

A Japanese tour participant took amazing pictures. His camera is so great. They even looked like color added and modified. My pictures are not modified. Ken told me he saw green, purple, and yellow in the aurora. I saw only yellow. I couldn't believe we see differently. I didn't see much colors with my naked eyes in the dark. All looked like huge smoke, so I was disappointed a little bit because they look differently from images on the postcards or the internet. Some people can see colors, but not me. Ken heard some people were  arguing if it looked green, so I am not the only one. I am not color blind, but I have a bad night vision.

This is my fifth attempt to upload this blog. I am tired of failing uploads, I give up adding videos.

Waking up with a massive pain in my left shoulder and arm, I managed to do all activities we planned. Before breakfast we were looking for a bandanna to tie around my neck to hang my left arm, we saw a kitty cat. He or she just looks like our old cat, Nyanya chan.
