飛行機雲

It was a sunny day today.

It has been cloudy lately.

So how I (we) miss those sunny days.

It’s relatively warm today for winter.

I found a contrail on the way to pick my sons up this afternoon.

Please let me explain further:-)

飛行機雲は、「airplane cloud」ではありません。

私的に残念ですが…(笑)

vapor trail（ヴェイパー・トレイル）contrail（コントレイル）

vapor trail は日常使う口語的なひょうげんで、contrail は文語的な表現です。 

日常一般的に使われるのはvapor trail です。

「contrail」は、「condensation trail」からできた言葉ですが、「condensation」は「(気体の)凝縮、凝結」という意味で、「trail」は「跡」。

また、「vapor trail」(蒸気の跡)とも言い、どちらも科学的な英語ですね。
