Remember the last week rumor with a thinner Toshiba tablet? That materialized today with the Toshiba AT200 Excite, announced at IFA Berlin as world’s thinnest 10.1 inch tablet at only 7.7mm (0.303 inch). That’s an achievement no matter what you say, but weight is not in line with the thinness, as at 1.2 lbs it’s much heavier than the 0.73 lbs Samsung Galaxy TAB 7.7.
Personally I don’t care that much about weight and thinness as long as those values are kept reasonable, but I do care about the looks of the Toshiba AT200 Excite, which features a brushed Gray aluminium back case and pronounced rounded edges. There’s also a metallic ring over the front facing 2MP camera.
