Fujitsu ScanSnap S1300i

Welcome to a laptop battery specialist of the dell laptop battery

The ScanSnap S1300 is also dead simple to use, after you’ve installed the appropriate software on your Mac or PC, and any iOS devices or Android devices – after you’ve registered for the cloud service you intend to use. You simply put the document to scan in the scanner, press scan and then decide where the scanned image goes. This is the part where the computer comes into play. It scans very quickly – 8 pages per minute (ppm) in normal mode down to .5 ppm in Excellent mode when connected to the adapter. Speeds are about half as fast when connected strictly via dual USB ports.

Along with the ability to scan to iOS or Android with battery like dell Latitude D510 battery , dell Latitude D520 battery , dell Latitude D600 battery , dell Latitude D610 battery , dell 312-0068 battery , dell 6Y270 battery , dell 1X793 battery , dell C1295 battery , dell Inspiron 1100 battery , dell Inspiron 5100 battery devices, you can, of course, scan in the traditional mode and save the image to a folder, attach it to an E-mail, or send it directly to a printer. You can scan in business cards and convert the content into a contact, which save a pile of typing for business users and road warriors in particular.

It uses a three-colour LED (red, green and blue) and can scan from 150 dots per inch (dpi) for colour/greyscale in Normal mode, up to 600 dpi in Excellent mode. Black and white scans can go from 300 dpi in Normal mode to 1200 dpi in Excellent mode, so there’s a lot of variation available to users.

The scanning resolution isn't high quality enough for use with higher resolution colour printing, but it’s plenty good enough for 90% of the use a family or small business would put this scanner to.

I’ve found that I look for opportunities to use this scanner because it’s so convenient to use DropBox to store scanned images. I’ve started scanning documents that have significance to me so that I can access them easily on my iPhone. For example, I’m working on a wood stove in my cabin, making sure it meets all the appropriate codes in order to properly insure the place. I scanned all the relevant documents on the stove and what the codes demand in order to have simple, immediate access to everything I need. I love it and I can only see using the scanner more and more.

If only it had Wi-Fi capability, I wouldn’t have to make sure I had a computer connected, but even with this obstacle it works great. I’d highly recommend this scanner.

PROS: Android or iPhone – it’ll work with either and it also works with both Macs and PCs; easy to install software, easy to use, it’s a real productivity enhancer.

CONS: Expensive; a bit too big for a road warrior’s needs; although it scans to iPhone or Android, you still need a computer involved. It’d be nice if it integrated Wi-Fi for a direct connection to an iPhone or Android phone.
