Dirty rap (also known as porn rap , porn rap, sex rap, booty rap, stpeach fansly leaks or porncore) is a subgenre of hip hop music that includes lyrical content revolving only around sexually explicit themes.

The text is often frankly frank and colorful, sometimes even funny or offensive. Historically, correspondingly dirty rap often contained a distinctly bass sound that originated in the popular bass rap scene in miami. But in recent years, dirty rap has been heavily influenced by baltimore club, ghetto house and ghettotech. Many dirty rap songs have been used as soundtracks for pornographic films since the 2000s, replacing the traditional porn groove.

Dirty rap of the late 1980s and early 1990s[ edit]

Although the genre has existed since at least the late 1970s with rapp dirty blowfly, and only in the 1980s when the oakland rapper too short released the 1983 album don' t stop rappin' containing some dirty sex themes, this sex became the central focus. Although the release did not attract any serious attention outside of his oakland metropolis, he continued to use provocative and erotic lyrics throughout his career, earning him six platinum and three gold compilations. Controversial rap group 2 live crew brought "dirty rap" to the mainstream with their bass guitar debut in miami 2 live crew is what we are. Due to the graphic sexual content of their party rhymes, the list x 2 live crew received extensive negative publicity. But it wasn't until 1989's as nasty as they wanna be that dirty rap became a legitimate genre. After being attacked remotely by conservative critics, censors and lawyers, 2 live crew responded with the 1990 album banned between the usa, a significantly more political and angry album. Years: as nasty as they wanna be, pt. 2, which was mostly panned by critics when it detracts from the sexually deviant lyrics as nasty as they wanna be. Starting from the sport's weekend, the team continued to perform dirty rap and party rap.

In the wake of the popularity of the 2 live crew, various rappers with dirty rap followed. The poison clan became widely successful, as did bitches with problems. Salt-n-pepa released several "dirty rap" songs in the late 1980s and early 1990s. Sir's 1992 mix-greatly hit single "baby got back" might rightly be classed as dirty rap; however, the bulk of mix-greatly's work is not sexually explicit enough for many to consider him a real dirty rap artist. Just like new jack swing hip hop group wreckx-n-effect hit dirty rap with their 1992 single "rump shaker". The pimp rapper too short has also been a notable contributor and newcomer to old rap since med started his 1st compilation in 1983, though his themes range from intercourse to gangster lifestyle.[2]

In the early 1990s, baltimore's club scene first began to take on an identity separate from house music and mainstream hip hop. Club melodies of baltimore, or dirty direction often contains lyrics of a frankly frank type and has had an effect on all modern dirty rappers. Both ghettotech and ghetto house (or "booty house") also developed by eye at the same time and even more so than baltimore club often contains pornographic and rather sexual content, exemplified by dj assault and dj funk, two artists who live as pioneers of ghettotech and ghetto house respectively.

Dirty white rappers include the russian group malchishnik, active from 1989 to 1994, and known for their song sex control (sex- control"), a diatribe against interracial sex.

Modern dirty rap[edit]

Dirty rap was a popular subgenre in the 1990s and 2000s, especially in southern hip-hop.[3] luke campbell of 2 live crew continued to release dirty rap as a solo artist well into the 2000s.

Kul keith described the lyrical content of his sex style album 1997 as "pornocore". In the catalog, keith portrays himself with a wide variety of characters ranging from pimps to perverts. Kate also uses sexual metaphors to diss other rappers, most of which have to do with urolagnia. Kool keith later appeared on the turn of the century album porn again, the smut peddlers' concept album dedicated to dirty rap or porncore. The smut peddlers' ingredients included mr. Eon, dj mighty mi of the high & mighty and rapper cage.

In 2001, afroman released the comedic rap single "crazy rap", a song in which he describes sexual activities such as anal intercourse in great detail. 40 radio.

This genre made a strong comeback in the southern hip-hop (or "dirty south") scene starting in the late 1990s and peaked around 2005 with two hit singles ying -yang twins. The explicit "wait (the whisper song)", as well as david banner's filthy single "play", both produced by "snap's father" mr. Collipark. Southern rapper pleas has released some dirty rap singles like "becky" and "fucking or what". Most of pleese's work is about drugs and violence, and he is not a full-time dirty artist, although almost all the singles released contain dirty rap.

Lil wayne was named one of billboard's dirtiest rappers in 2012.[5]

Dirty rap revived again in the 2010s, especially in the west coast hip hop scene. In 2014, the yg song "do it to ya" featuring teeflii from the album my krazy life produced by dj mustard was released. Dj mustard also produced some other recent dirty rap songs, including teeflii's single "24 hours".

Female artists like saweetie, missy elliott, mia x, lil' kim , latto, flo milli, riley reid, strings, gillette, queen pen, azealia banks, cupcakke, foxy brown, gangsta boo, shawnna, khia, lil' slow, remy ma, trina, nicki minaj, cardi b, doja cat, city girls, brooke candy, amil, miami's jacki-o, heather hunter, erica banks and megan thee stallion are the standout dirty rappers in a genre once dominated by men. Cupcakke rose to fame in late 2015 with her single "deepthroat". The dirty music video has garnered millions of views on youtube, as well as millions more on other video sharing sites like worldstarhiphop and facebook. All six of her albums and mixtapes feature dirty rap and sexually explicit lyrics.

Many indie rappers such as spank rock, bonde do role, plastic little, peaches, amanda blank, and yo majesty created in the mid-to-late 2000s an underground, electro-funk or electro-clash version of dirty rap with dance motifs, which spin magazine called electro porn. These rappers are heavily influenced by the baltimore club and ghettotech scenes.

Megan thee stallion and cardi b's 2020 dirty rap song "wap" is heavily influenced by two genres that have made significant contributions and influences to the subgenre "dirty rap"; the song features both a heavy bass reminiscent of a miami bass and a well-known sample from a baltimore club song, specifically from baltimore club artist frank sky's 1993 single "whores in this house".

Memphis rapper moneybagg yo is also known for using dirty rap lyrics in many of his songs, many of which are considered very explicit. Sexually explicit lyrics.
