1- man's axiom of his acceptance of the divine
2- a net of way of life and practices relating to the quasi-religious and amalgamation it's adherents in a community, e.g. Christianity, Judaism
3- adhesion to specified a system, a man without religion
4- thing which has a mighty hold on a person's way of thinking, interests, etc. contact sport is his religion
5- conventual life, his name in religion was Damian
Other examples of the 4th account are: science, medicine, technology, occult, sex, extracurricular drugs, food, drink, music, vanity, sports and chattels. You may possibly feel of more.
The Bible gives a account for holiness in James 1:27,
