『言えなかった言の葉』の最後の手紙が
とてつもなく読みづらいので書き出してみました。
Dear John,
I hope this letter
finds you safe and well.
I guess you’ll be very surprised to get this letter. I heard
that now you live
on the out island. How do you live there? I know very well
that you have a
strong sense of justice and you‘re gentle so I surely believe
everybody who
lives on the island must be relying on you. It’s been a long,
long time since
the last time I saw you. I don’t like to say it but I really
got old while
you become a fine doctor.
I wrote you because I have something to tell you. To be
honest with you, I’d
like to tell you some words that I have put in my heart and I
haven’t been
able to tell you for a long time.

案の定、本文自体には大したことは書かれていませんし
やっぱりぎりぎり見えない最後の一文は読めませんが…
推測するに彼女はずっと言えなかった「すき」という気持ちを
この手紙に綴ったのでしょう。
・・・ですが、これ風に飛ばされて読めずに終わってますよね？？？
えーー、なにこれ・・・報われない・・・。
しかも最後の少女？の笑い声怖くないですか？
無邪気にも裏があるようにも聞こえる。こわい。
