A-Kon Day 3, Updates and Photo Gallery

元気ですか？

Ahh...I need to study really hard now.
I'm falling behind in classes because of the recent events.

It's been 3 days already since the expo, but I still feel the excitement and rush. It's so hard to concentrate!! I feel like I am suffering withdrawal.... lmao

Here is a picture of our cosplay. (*^▽^*) We just took it on Sunday.


Of all 3 days, Sunday was the most fun! ( ´艸｀)

There were a lot of good cosplays on Sunday! I think even better than Saturday. I saw a really awesome Mad Hatter from Alice in Wonderland movie, and a beautiful Sebastian and Grell cosplay from Kuroshitsuji!!

I also made a lot of new friends there! That's always really great!
And a lot of people took pictures!! I think they especially liked it when a whole group posed together. It became a little troublesome later because it's hard to stay in the pose for longer than 2 minutes ＞＿＜



And best of all...
I was able to get a picture with only my favorite character of all....
Uchiha Sasuke!! (///∇//)

During Labor Day weekend (September 4), we will be attending another convention in Dallas called AnimeFest.＾＾　Many people we have met are also going!! So I'm really looking forward to it!!

A-Kon 21 Day 1 & Day 2

おはようございます！(ﾉ´▽｀)ﾉ

I'm sorry I didn't send you back peta the last few days because I've been busy!! m(_ _ )m

This is a really long post because I want to write it detailed as keepsake memory. :*:・(￣∀￣)・:*: I still cannot seem to contain my excitement yet!

A-KON DAY 1

On Friday, I got to see so many good costumes!! I want to share a few!



I got pictures with a few of my favorites!!
Grell from Kuroshitsuji and KAKASHI!!! They both were so grand!!



It was like meeting a real live walking and talking Grell and Kakashi-sensei!!!

h.NAOTO also set up a booth, and one of their designers and vocalist IBI of the band SIXh was there!!! Really, he's so gorgeous and magnificent in person!!! ( ´艸｀) I was really surprised when he let us get a picture with him!!!! <3

There were so many good ones, I will redirect you to my album once I upload them all!! *w* I can't forget it!!

A-KON DAY 2

On Saturday, it was really a blast!!!! My friend David came also and gave us a ride to there, so it was twice the fun!! =D
I didn't get any good photos on my camera of our Deidara and Sasori cosplay, but I think David has a lot. I will try to take our pictures tomorrow on the last day of the convention!!

It was really a great feeling when Naruto fans called out "It's Deidara and Sasori!!!" Pictures are also so fun!! xD
I loved all the hugs!! It was so nice to know our characters are well liked! (´∀｀)

We spent mostly time in the h.NAOTO panel, and then Q&A session with IBI.



He's SO good-looking in person!!! ( ´艸｀)
David took many pictures with his nice camera!! I would love to see them again!! They look so much like professional photographs!!

Afterwards, they had autograph signing, and I was freaking out so much!!! <3 Oh my god!!! I think it was so apparent that when it was our turn, the translator lady said to me "He's really handsome right?" Hahahah XDD Yes, he's very kind too!!!
And when he said to me, "Naruto suki!" Oh my gosh...I totally flipped out!!!!!



After that.....I was really so tired. I think from the excitement during the autograph signing.... I expended a lot of energy that way. （ ´(ェ)｀）

David bought a really cool Naruto scroll bag!!! xD


He also helped me get these 2 prints for a haggled price! xDD
They are so beautiful!




AHHHH! It really feels like another world there!!
It's so unreal! I never want it to end! 。・ﾟﾟ･(≧д≦)･ﾟﾟ･｡

One more day tomorrow!! I will update afterwards!!

Today is the day!!

I'm so excited!!!!　Today is the convention!!
So I'll be late with things today~~ I'm sorry (ﾉДT)
I will update as soon as we arrive home!

We won't be wearing our outfits today, for convenience reasons. *w*
But on Saturday, we will be Akatsuki's Deidara and Sasori!
Sunday... remains "to be announced" xD

How about a preview? =) It's taken a while ago. It will be similar, but also a few changes...
because I can't draw his eyes correctly on myself. (/ω＼)

Previously on Wednesday, my friend had a surprise for me. I've been waiting weeks to find out! I laughed so much....I really didn't expect it! But I love it a lot!

We discussed whether it is suitable for casual use.... hahaha! xD

How are you all doing?

Today, for some reason.... I feel really shaky （ ´(ェ)｀）
I think it's too much coffee...
It's quite unsettling and so hard to focus during class now.

I had made a cover for my notebook last week. (///∇//)
I laminated it just recently..but I can't bring myself to use it. (´・ω・`)


On this Friday and weekend, there's an anime convention in Dallas! A-Kon is held every year here I think..
My sister and I have prepared for it since last fall!!!

I'm really so excited!! It's my first convention to attend!

There is still a number of final touches for our outfits >_<
I hope we finish in time!

My laptop is almost out of battery (´＿｀｡)

こんにちは！

Cindy wanted to try out the frozen yogurt place I had last time, so we went together on Saturday. She really liked it, too. (ﾉ´▽｀)ﾉ



这是我的妹妹。她的中文名字是佩贤，是像我的。（佩珮）(´∀｀)
不过，我们常常叫她的英文名字“Cindy.” 我记得当我还是个小孩子，我问我妈妈 为什么Cindy的中文名字是像我的。妈妈说，“当然了，因为她是佩珮的妹妹！”

This is my little sister. Her name is Pei Xian, which is similar to mine. (Pei Pei)
But usually we call her by her English name "Cindy."
I remember when I was little, I asked my mom why the first character of Cindy's name was the same as mine. She said, "Of course, because she's your little sister!"

(＞д＜) Oh my gosh, that was a terrible paragraph..
Because I don't use it a lot, I forgot a lot of my Chinese vocabulary.

Anyway, as a kid, I used to think our names were really weird because all the kids I went to elementary school with had completely different names from their siblings. (´・ω・`)
Although Cindy and I had different American first names, we have the same middle name "Pei" on our birth certificates. Even my friends pointed it out and made jokes about it.

But from meeting new people as I grew older, I learned it's not uncommon to do that in many Asian families.


Now presenting..our yummy creation!!! (≧▽≦)
Uh...Mine....oddly looks the same as last time. >3<
But it's actually quite different...I promise you, hahah!
