The US Presidential Election is not decided entirely by popular votes. There is this system known as the "Electoral College". Each state has a number attached to it and it is distributed based on the Census (size of population) of a specific year. The Census in 2010 will affect the 2012, 2016 and 2020 elections. Simply put, the larger the population, the greater the number of electoral votes. The electoral college stands at 538. To win the election, the magic number is 270.

*If immigrants and new citizens flood a certain state and get counted in the Census, the number electoral votes could shift and affect the outcomes of the election. This does not sound like a "fair" method, to me at least. IF the ruling party or sitting president wants to keep their power in the same party, that president or administration could arrange to accept immigrants without proper checks and vetting, house them in states which will otherwise vote for the other major party.

E.g. Arizona 11, California 55, Colorado 9, Florida 29, Hawaii 4, Indiana 11, Kansas 6, Louisiana 8, Michigan 16, Nebraska 5, New Jersey 14, New York 29, North Carolina 15, Ohio 18, Pennsylvania 20, South Dakota 3, Texas 38, Virginia 13, Vermont 3, Wisconsin 10

To win the election, 270 electoral votes will be needed. Americans vote and when the winner of the state is declared, the electoral votes will be placed in the Basket belonging to each candidate. It is "winner-takes-all" system, except for a couple of states.

When Mr. Trump wins the popular vote in Florida, 29 electoral votes will be in his Basket. When he wins Ohio, an additional 18 electoral votes will be added, and another 38 when Texas picks Mr. Trump. Alaska 3 will bring the total to 88, and it keeps adding

The magic number is 270.

There are so many predictions online now. It is clearly split depending on where one stands. The left MSM is trying steal the election by "calling early" for Mr. Trump's opponent, who is currently under FBI investigation for the SECOND time in five months over 33.000 (or is it 650.000) emails on her private unsecure server, and has WIKILEAKS dumping damaging emails on her very "questionable" activities. It is surprising she is STILL allowed to run, and not indicted. The Powerful & Rich seem to play on a different set of rules and regulations from the Ordinary Little People.

I am going to make a very wild guess on this 2016 US Election, after reading and following this cycle since July 2015.

The Republican-stronghold and most conservative states have smaller populations.

Rallies in Colorado (9) & Michigan (16) have drawn unbelievably HUGE crowds in the hundreds of thousands, many waited for as long as 7 to 8 hours (Seriously, who does this) and cannot get inside the venue. 

Mr. Trump's beautiful family, his wife Melania, his children Ivanka, Donald Jr., Eric and Tiffany have been speaking in various locations, drawing absolutely amazing crowds in locations like Pennsylvania (20) . Gov. Pence's lovely wife, Karen, has also been travelling with her husband on the campaign trail. Ted Cruz, who fought Mr. Trump bitterly in the primaries, has come forward to campaign with Gov. Pence in Michigan. Reince Priebus, the current chairman of the RNC, who is "quite popular" in Wisconsin (10), could also play a tipping role. +55 would be absolutely <325>

IF 270 is what Mr. Donald J. Trump and Governor Michael Pence need to win the White House, win for AMERICA and END THE CORRUPTION in the Establishment, 270 WILL BE.

Recent days, the untrustworthy US MSM has started to show Mr. Trump & Governor Pence "leading in the national and regional polls for the Presidential Election" and the "electoral college has shifted to his advantage, with several expecting the Republican Team to win".

GREAT news, huh Not really.

How much should we TRUST these statements? They came out from the very dishonest MSM, which have been smashing Mr. Trump for the last 18 months, and 91% were vicious and plain lies. Imagine all these lies, if turned into lawsuits, would have even payouts to rebuild America TWICE.

We know there is such thing known as "Voter Suppression". It is to show false information and report fake news to depress the electorate from going out to vote for the RIGHT candidate. The so-called "low-informed" voters" would listen and believe those words as the "truths" This is all through one's TV set or sets and radio at home. They would believe and assume Mr. Trump to be anything he ISN'T and Mr. Trump's opponent is the right one, who totally IS NOT. Mr. Trump's opponent is a pathological liar who is making an undecent living out of taxpayers' money. She has been caught lying on TV, in congress, and under oath, but guess what? She is still here, standing CROOKED, though she has accomplished NOTHING
