** EST’s Online Writing Program: Yoichi’s Journey, Part 1 **
Hello, everyone. My name is Yoichi Fujimori, and I am a member of the Wednesday 6:25 session at B&B. Some of you already know me! I recently joined EST’s online business writing course, and every Friday, I will be posting about my progress in this Facebook group. I will focus on the following:
- improvements made to my own business writing
- useful new expressions/language learned
- how the skills learned in this writing program can be applied to my own job
- some words of encouragement for you to continue improving your English!
Here is the background on my situation – this might be similar to yours! My company recently ordered me to work from home. As a result, I no longer need to commute to work, so I have more time to study English. I decided to do two things:
- Study English for thirty minutes a day
- Take the TOEIC L&R (listening and reading) test on 28th June
My favorite phrase is “Keep on walking”. This is because I think it isn’t important to compare yourself to other people, but only to yourself. That is to say, I want to go forward even if it seems like one step a day. My current TOEIC score is 590. I will do my best to get even one more point.
Keep on walking🐾
