Point of sale experts CJ Retail Solutions has announced the appointment of communications specialist Mike Houghton as its new marketing director.

The runcorn based business will house his new position and will be responsible for ensuring that the company’s values and proposition are communicated and implemented correctly.
This will involve working hand-in-hand with the sales and operations teams on a day-to-day basis and, as a member of the board, Houghton will contribute significantly to the scope and strategic growth of the business.
He brings with him a wealth of retail experience, having worked with some of the UK’s leading blue-chip companies, primarily in the grocery retail and retail banking sectors. Mike also has experience of agency side operations having run his own successful marketing consultancy for the previous eight years.
