Patch Adams describes himself as a clown doctor, but more than this, he has committed his life to studying what makes people happy. Patch encourages a holistic approach to the care of all patients. Today, the Gesundheit institute offers free medical care to all its patients, complimentary medicine and accepts students for electives as well. It would seem that one defiant medical student who chose to start a revolution is indeed changing the world one patient at a time.

last two years my DS has been a firefighter. He will probably do that again this year as we were given a Gymboree firefighter coat (yellow w/reflective tape, made of canvas, very soft and warm) and it is still a little too big on him! LOL He wears this with tan pants, rubber boots and a firefighter hat. No weird fabrics. No itchy wigs or masks! He loves it and seems to enjoy it my girls tell me he cant keep being the same thing and I say as long as he is happy and can wear it, he can be it for the next 5 years if he wants! :)
