Speaking of Bangkok...
Because!
I work too much sometime (as the other Japanese efficient girls!),
And
I could not enjoy new year's vacation as I had flu and was in bed most of the time..
I have decided to have just a couple of days-off next week and fly to Bangkok for the escape![]()
Just thinking of what to do there,
Spa,
Nice restaurants, Thai food, Italian, Cafe...
Meeting up with old friends,
Shopping,
Walking,
Going to the weekend market............................................
makes me smile now![]()
By the way I think I launched this blog for showing the life in Japan,
But have not written so much about it![]()

XO-Sauce & Chilli Sauce - The Peninsula Bangkok
Here's my favorite;
Left - XO Sauce
Right - Chilli Broad Bean Sauce
Especially, this chilli makes you.....![]()
You can put this in stir fried rice, noodels... whatever!
Soya Bean Oil
Red Chilli
Hot Chilli
Garlic
Shallot
Chilli Sauce
Soya Bean Sauce
Oyster Sauce
Sugar
Penut Butter
are in it.
We usually get them from the Peninsula Bangkok,
As we have the Peninsula Tokyo newly opened in 2007,
it seems you can purchase XO-sauce on their website (Peninsula Boutique ) here in Japan.
(maybe not this chilli, but they have the other kinds of chilli here)
XO sauce : JPY5,200
In Bangkok, I don't remember how much it was...
But whenever we visit there, we buy 1 or 2 and never run out of it in a fridge![]()
It's not cheap... but it definitely deserves to try out!

Resolution - 2009

But haven't had any resolutions for this year yet...

In the end of 2007, I decided to quit smoking in 2008, but it was broken in a couple of DAYS,
when my friend came to my house for new year's dinner..

The other thing was;
To take French class in next level
Did take weekend class at l'institut (www.institut.jp) just one term in summer, but didn't go on next term...
In 2009, will carry over them?
Should be possible.
But anything more realistic and achievable!?
Will see and need to find some by the end of this month at latest....

LoVE
