Hello,
Like most people in Japan, I had last Monday off work. I made the most of my day off by visiting Yokohama for the day. It`s about two hours driving from Fuji and we visited my sister-in-law, who lives there. We decided to walk around Yokohama bay for a few minutes, where you can find a fairground and an old style sailing ship on the way to Yokohama train station. I couldn`t believe how hot it was, (well over thirty degrees!), and after a few minutes of walking I couldn`t take any more and had to go indoors to the safety of air conditioned coolness. We got some shopping done in an enormous shopping mall that I can`t remember the name of. It seems like the rest of Yokohama had the same idea as the shopping mall and surrounding areas were jam packed with people. I don`t think I have ever seen so many people together in one place. It looks like everyone was making the most of their day off to get some shopping done. It was great to see Yokohama, it`s a very lively and busy area and I look froward to my next visit.

でお休みでした。
私はこの三連休に、横浜に行ってきました。
富士から車
で約２時間、私たちは、横浜に住む義理の姉を訪ねました。
まず、横浜港を散歩しました。催し物があったり、クラシックな船がありました。
それよりもすごい暑さ
でした。（３０度超えてました）
すれから少し歩いたのですが、暑さに耐えられなくなって、クーラー
のある室内に逃げ込みました。
すごく大きなショッピングモールがあって、そこで買い物をしました。モールの名前は覚えてません。
横浜のショッピングモールや周りのエリアは、すごい人でした。
私は一つの場所にあんなに人がいるのをみたことがありません
。
みんながお休みの日をショッピングに費やしているようでした。横浜をみれてよかったです。
とっても活気があって、忙しい町でしたが、またいける日が楽しみです。
