I am really excited about this Sunday's speech contest. I am looking forward to seeing my students do their best on stage and having a good time. But I am also nervous because this year I am, once again, in charge of the 10th rank activity and I am not sure how well the students will do. The 10th rank activity is performed by Apricot class students and 10th rank students whose ages range from 2 to 6. Last year, the students froze up on the stage and barely sang and danced. It was a big disappointment considering we had practiced for about two months and they did so well in the class. But I think this year will be different. For one thing, for some of the students this will be their second time on stage so they will not feel as uncomfortable (I think...I hope... -_-;;; ) Secondly, this year instead of joining the students on stage, I will be off stage, facing all of them and encouraging them to continue to dance. This year we chose the "Do-re-mi" song and the "Locomotion" song and I really hope that all of you will have a chance to see the little ones belt out the tunes and shake their bon bons, because they look soooo cute! Do your best kiddies!
日曜日はついにスピーチコンテストです
ステージで生徒達が楽しみながら一生懸命今までの成果を出すところを見るのが楽しみです
しかし、10級アクティビティーの担当なので
生徒達がステージ上でうまく出来るか心配でもあります
10級アクティビティーは、幼児クラスの生徒さんと
10級で２～６歳の生徒さんによって発表されます。
去年は、生徒達は舞台上で固まってしまい、なんとか歌って踊っていました
クラスで2ヶ月練習し、とてもよく出来ていたので、とてもがっかりしました
しかし、今年は去年とは違います
何人かの生徒さんは、参加するのが２回目なのでそんなに緊張しないのではと思います。

・・・・そう願います)
そして、今年はステージ上に上がっていた去年とは違い
私はステージ下で生徒さんたちを踊り続けられるように励ます予定です
今年は、「ド・レ・ミ」と「ロコモーション」を歌って踊ります
皆さんが、大きな声で歌いながらポンポンをふるかわいい姿を見られると良いなと思います。
皆、一生懸命頑張りましょう
