I went to Seoul, Korea from the 15th to the 17th for the first time.
We reserved Lotte Hotel Seoul which is one of the most popular hotel among Japanese people. We reserved a normal room, but they upgraded the room to suite room for free!
The room had bedroom, living/dining room, 2tvs and 2 bathrooms. It's 4 times as big as usual room o.0 We were so lucky! (2 pictures of the room)
We haven't stayed in suite room and it was freezing outside, so we spent a lot of time in there lol
I was so surprised that people at shops in Myeong Dong speak Japanese so well. I studied Korean a little to talk to them, but I didn't have to use Korean and English.
We ate a lot of Korean food, some were good and some were bad.
(picture 3) These are Mandu (Korean dumpling) and Kalguksu (Korean udon noodle).
(picture 4) This is Korean BBQ.
(picture 5) This is called Kanjan Kejan (soy sauce marinated raw crab).
These are pictures of Myeong Dong city. (picture 6)
Before I went there, I read something on the guide book. It says 'since Korea is always ready for battle, taking pictures of airport, subway station and underground shopping arcade is prohibited'.
So I couldn't take pictures that much outside... :/
When I watched TV show the other day, the show compared Japanese guys with Korean guys. They found out that Korean guys do everything for their girlfriends and Japanese guys don't. Then I realized that was true!
Public bathrooms were way behind in Korea though... I was surprised that we can't flush toilet paper and we have to throw that away into the trash can after we use it.
I was so tired because I walked a lot and I ate a lot, but it was a fun trip :D
