今日は神社と寺院での参拝のしかたについて書きまーす❗😁
Sanpai is the Japanese term for a visit to a shrine or temple to worship the Shinto or Buddhist deities. Worshipping means to make a wish to a god or to Buddha. The way people worship is different at shrines & temples so you need to take care.
参拝とは、神社や寺に行って神仏を拝むこと。神社と寺とでは参拝のしかたが違うので、注意が必要だ。
The general way to worship 〜一般的な参拝方法〜
1. Wash your hands & rinse your mouth at the chozuya to purify your body.
手水舎で手を洗い、口をすすぎ、身を清める。
2. Put a money offering into the offertory.
賽銭を賽銭箱に入れる。
3. If there is a bell hanging down, ring it.
鈴や銅鑼が下がっていれば鳴らす。
Money offerings 〜賽銭〜
These were originally money given as a thank you when a prayer had been realized. When people visit a shrine or temple to worship, they make offerings as compensation for the wish & to show their appreciation. No amount is set. If their wish is for marriage ties, some people decide the amount to give with a play on words -make a go-en (￥5) wish for go-en (marriage)！
社寺に参拝するときに、祈願や感謝の代償として供える。金額は決まっておらず、縁結びなら「ご縁(5円)」と語呂合わせで決めることもある。
In the case of a shrine 〜神社の場合〜

4 : Bow deeply twice, clap your hands twice, and pray with the hands together. Then, bow deeply once more.
2回深くお辞儀をして2回の拍手を打ち、手を合わせたまま拝む。そのあと、もう一度１回深くお辞儀をする。
Shrines 〜神社〜
A shrine is a religious instruction created based on affiliation with Shinto. A lot of gods are worshipped. There is usually woodland known as Chinju-no-mori around the shrine.
神道信仰に基づく宗教施設。やおろずの神様が祀られている。まわりには鎮守の杜と呼ばれる森林があるのが一般的。
In the case of a temple 〜寺院の場合〜

4 : Bow deeply once and pray with the hands together.

A temple is a building for the practice of Buddhist religious rituals. Buddhism is the religion that began with Shakyamuni. Buddhism is divided into many sects.
