Single gender education consists of separating males and females and putting them in different classrooms or buildings, in order to teach them differently and by separate.

On the other hand, we have the opposite of single-sex education: co-education.

This is the most common from of schooling.

Co-education means educating both genders boys and girls together in an institute or in a class.

Co-education would provide an opportunity to the young men and women to understand each other.

This would be very helpful to them in their future life.

Moreover, co-education would raise the standard of education, because it will promote competition among boys and girls.

Co-educational schools are a step for all the students who aspire to contribute to their society in the future.

To be able to achieve this it is important for them to be confident around the opposite sex.

But everything has its disadvantages.

Some students cannot concentrate on studying due to the attraction of the opposite sex.
