Anyway, today’s blog, I wanna share you guys with my opinion about a topic:p
—Scarcity is the most effective hidden tricks that advertisers use.—
—In my opinion, scarcity strategy works so well because it reminds us of our choice will soon be gone.
When I was just doing window shopping with my friends, we didn’t intend on buying anything.
However, a clerk shouted “only 10 cakes left and we are running out of it.”
We thought that we have to buy it right now at that time.
We bought two cakes, but after that we didn’t know why we bought.
We didn’t really want to buy them, but we did.
Because there were only 10 cakes at the shop.
Other example is when I go to a restaurant, I always check Facebook and look at the numbers of the stamps of approval by someone I love or admire.
They say “ this shop is really good “ on Facebook, I think that I should go there.
Therefore, I reckon that tapping into our social insecurities is also good way for consumers to buy something.
Weew this topic is sooo difficult to think about:(
