Winter as well as Spring comes quietly.
（冬も春もそっとやって来る。）
Without sounds, without odors.
（音もなく、香りもなく。）
Winter is lost？
（冬はなくなった？）
Spring is lost, too？
（春もなくなる？）
People say, snow indicates winter comes.
（人は雪があるから冬があると言う。）
People say, flowers indicate spring comes.
（人は花があるから春があると言う。）
Winter as well as Spring moves away quietly.
（冬も春もそっと遠のいている。）
Without asking, without telling.
（何も訊かず、何も告げず。）
Sorrowfully I asked,
（もの悲しくて梅に尋ねた。）
ume tree answered, “Winter as well as Spring
is a moment.”
（「冬も春も一瞬。」と応えた。）
Mournfally I asked,
（もの寂しくて菜の花に尋ねた。）
colzas answered, “Both Winter and Spring
are a moment.”
（「冬も春もまた一瞬。」と応えた。）
In the mild sunlight, the scenery of
captured wild flowers fills just a drop...
（柔らかな日差しの中、野花が咲き乱れたあの光景が、
ほんの一雫の中に溢れ出して…。）
That's not something easy.

Winter, Spring, Summer, Autumn comes,
and then Winter.
（冬が来て、春が来て、夏が来て、秋が来て、
冬がまた来る。）
It's very natural, not strange？

This year, something hibernal as well as
something vernal is missing.
