Welcome to a laptop battery specialist of the Acer Laptop Battery
Acer (TPE:2353) recently unveiled its first fifteen-inch ultrabook, the Acer Aspire Timeline Ultra M3, during the CeBIT. The latest product offering from Acer comes with similar features as standard mid-size laptops including a discrete graphics card, optical drive and a fifteen-inch display.
The Acer Aspire Timeline Ultra M3 weighs heavier compared to typical ultra-slim laptops with battery like Acer BTP-73E1 Battery, Acer BATCL50L Battery, Acer TravelMate 290 Battery, Acer TravelMate 4000 Battery, Acer TravelMate 2300 Battery, Acer Aspire 1680 Battery, Acer Aspire 1410 Battery, Acer TravelMate 4500 Battery, Acer LCBTP03003 Battery, Acer Aspire 1300 Battery including the MacBook Air of Apple (NASDAQ:AAPL) due to its fifteen-inch display. However the Acer Aspire Timeline Ultra M3 is still lighter compared to devices that are not considered as ultrabooks such as the XPS 15z of Dell.
Despite its slim design, the latest ultrabook offering of Acer offers an optical drive, something that is not typical of recent ultrabook offerings. However it should be noted that the Series Ultra of Samsung and R830 ultrabooks of Toshiba also features an optical drive.
Aside from the optical drive, the Acer Aspire Timeline Ultra M3 also comes with a hybrid 500GB HDD, which is a combination of a solid state drive and a conventional hard drive. Potential buyers also have the option of acquiring the SSD only model of the Acer Aspire Timeline Ultra M3.
The upcoming ultrabook offering of Acer also comes with the GeForce GT 640M graphics card from Nvidia (NASDAQ:NVDA), which is not typical of ultrabooks in the market. Another ultrabook was introduced during the CeBIT that will come with its own dedicated graphics card, the Gigabyte U2442. However the display of the Acer Aspire Timeline Ultra M3 only has a 1366 by 768 screen resolution.
According to the press release of Acer, the Acer Aspire Timeline Ultra M3 will have a battery life of around eight hours, which was noted by industry watchers since the device comes with discrete graphics, although this claim remains uncertain.
The Acer Aspire Timeline Ultra M3 will enter the US market within the month although it is already available in Singapore.
