This is my experience that happened when I worked part-time job at a restaurant recently

You know, three custmers ,looked like east-south Asians came into the restaurant and asked me whether I could speak English.

Frankly speaking, I didn't have a confidence in my English, but I was glad to get a chance to speak in English, so I answered "A little・・・" (((( ;°Д°))))

They looked at the menu and said this while pointing spaghetti with meat sause and an eggplant on the menu,

"what't meat sause?? What dose it taste?"

"えっ?”

carelessly though I spoke in Japanese,it was not too easy to answer this question soon!

Then after I thought what I reply in a short time, I said ,

"Chicken!!!"

"Oh,Thanks."

They said and smiled.

(Good job・・・!)

Their smile made me feel relieve.

Next day I told my friend about that and asked whether my answer has been right.

Then, she said surprisingly,

"Chicken?? Meat is beef !!"

I was shocked to hear that!!!(>_<)

but,learned about what meat was.
