世界銀行と国際金融公社は、世界183ヶ国を対象に
ビジネスの容易性を評価した世界ランキング調査｢ビジネス2011｣を発表した。
フィリピンは総合順位で183ヶ国中148位で
前年の146位から2ランク順位が下落した。
国際金融公社（International Finance Corporation, IFC）は
世界銀行グループの一機関で、1956年に設立された。
本部はアメリカ合衆国。
貧困減少と生活改善を目的に発展途上国における
民間セクターに対する投資支援や技術支援などを行う組織です。

マニラの主要道路エドサを走る路線バスを対象とした通行規制を開始した。
ナンバープレートの末尾番号による規制で
渋滞の緩和と空気汚染対策が目的だという。
事前の通告がなかったことで
エドサを運行する70％のバスおよそ3000台がストライキを決行した。
