15日から使い始めた新しいキャッチコピー
「ピリピナス・カイ・ガンダ（フィリピンは美しい）」が
フィリピンの観光業関係者などから批判の声が噴出
デビュー直後から思わぬ形でつまずいた。
また、新たに開設された観光省のホームページでは
文法的な間違いや盗作疑惑が浮上。
開設からわずか１日足らずで、閉鎖される事態に追い込まれた。

違法業者を摘発
フィリピン首都圏マニラ市ビノンドのデビソリア市場で
偽サングラスを高級サングラスと見せかけ
違法販売したとして業者が摘発された。
フィリピン国家捜査局がおとり捜査を実施し
サングラス約２万個（８千万ペソ相当）を押収したという。

Contractors were seized and sold as illegal.
The sting operation carried Philippines National Bureau of Investigation
Sunglasses about 20,000 (equivalent to 80 million pesos) that was confiscated.
