小向容疑者は現在

中国最高裁の判決により刑の執行は確実と伝えた。
受刑者3人のうち2人は21日、1人は22日にそれぞれ執行される予定だという。
中国で麻薬密輸罪で有罪判決を受けた３人の死刑執行確定を受け
アキノ大統領は「より緊密な両国関係を試す機会になる」と話し
最後までフィリピン人３人の減刑を中国政府に働き掛けると明言した。
大統領就任後からバス乗っ取り事件（2010年８月）
中国人民主活動家のノーベル平和賞授賞式（2010年12月）
台湾人14人の中国送還問題（2011年２月）と
対中国関係を揺るがす問題が続く中
アキノ大統領は一貫して、中国との外交関係への配慮を示してきましたが
どうも効果がなかったようです。
