「豪華監房」の撤去問題で、撤去を断行した場合
収監者自治組織が所内で暴動を起こすとの情報が浮上している。
司法長官が10日の記者会見で明らかにした。
一方、同日付のインクワイアラー紙などは暴動情報について
「監房撤去で賄賂が受け取れなくなることを恐れる
一部の刑務官が偽情報を流した。私利のために司法長官を欺いた」などと指摘する
司法省矯正局関係者の話を報道。
長年放置されてきた刑務所内の不正と利権に
メスを入れる現政権の試みは一筋縄では行かないようだ。
