共事業道路省の公式フェースブックページに
掲載されていた写真の合成疑惑について、指摘を認め謝罪した。
問題の写真は
台風 ペドリンで破壊された
マニラ湾の堤防付近に、共事業道路省職員3人が
埋め込み合成されているものでした。

外国人家政婦の永住権
３０日、香港高等法院（高裁）は、香港で働く
外国人家政婦の永住権取得を認めていない入境条例の規定について
香港基本法（憲法に相当）に違反するとの判決を下した。
香港の人口７００万人のうち
フィリピン人やインドネシア人などの外国人家政婦は３０万人。
入境条例は「７年以上居住すれば永住権を申請できる」と規定しているが
家政婦は対象外と明記している。
１９８６年から香港で働くフィリピン人家政婦が
「例外規定は差別的で、基本法違反だ」として提訴しており
現在、７年以上居住している外国人家政婦は１２万人もおり
政府は「外国人家政婦に永住権を認めれば
本国から呼び寄せる家族を含め
永住権取得者が５０万人に達するかもしれない」と主張
外国人定住者が激増して、社会保障コストの増大を招く可能性があるという。
