シャロン・ストーン

アメリカのハリウッド女優のシャロン・ストーンさんが
雇用していた元子守のフィリピン人女性がこのほど
元主人のシャロン・ストーンを提訴したという。

フィリピン出身のこの家政婦が裁判所に提出した訴状によれば
シャロンは家政婦の故郷フィリピンの文化や伝統、訛りをバカにし
彼女が信仰する宗教を嫌がって
自室で祈りを捧げたり聖書を読むことも禁じたという。

それでも家政婦が信仰儀式を続けていると
シャロンは数週間にかけて
彼女への嫌味や罵倒を他の従業員や来客の前でも行い
最終的には2011年2月にクビにしたという。
家政婦はこれを不当解雇として裁判所に訴えを提出した。

フィリピン人女性は
「民族や宗教に対する冒涜を受けた」と説明しているが
ストーンさんの広報担当は、不合理で金銭目的に過ぎないと反論している。
