フィリピンのアキノ大統領は
「南シナ海」の名称を「西フィリピン海」と正式に規定する大統領令を出し
この名称を使用した新たな地図の発行などを指示した。
国連などにも採用を訴える方針だという。
大統領令（５日付）は
「自国の海域を指定し名称を与える権利がある」とし
南沙諸島やスカボロー礁、ルソン海峡などを
「西フィリピン海」と規定した。
これに対し、中国外務省は
「『南シナ海』は国連などに受け入れられてきた名称で
名称を変更しても南沙諸島などが中国に属す事実は変えられない」と反発。
台湾も「争いを誘発する一方的な動きだ」と非難している。

パスポートの更新も、電子化され
時間も思っていたより短時間ですみました。
偶然、会ったフィリピーナの３人組（近所に住む）は
朝から来ていたのか
私たちが着くのと入れ違いに帰って行きましたが
３人組の一人が、すごい剣幕のタガログ語で
「ナンデ フィリピンジン コンナニ オオイカ」
「イッパイデ イママデ カカッタヨ」とのこと
フィリピン領事館だから
「フィリピン人がいっぱい居るのは、当たり前では」と思ってしまった。
