A new shop opens where L'ECLAIREUR used to be.
Mark Styler is going to open a new shop "Valveat 81" on the site where L'ECLAIREUR used to be on Aug. 28. It is going to be a select shop that offers lifestyle stuff as well as high-fashion brands. There is also a garden in front of the shop, which is going to be produced by Makoto Azuma, one of my favorite artists. I cannot imagine what it is going to be like.

Alexander Wang short film debut
ALEXANDER WANG, a NY-based designer, has made a film of his latest collection. With model Abbey Lee as his muse, the designer has teamed up with photographer Craig Dean and stylist Karl Temper to shoot a short film that, as Wang describes, will be the first of many.
"We wanted a lot of energy and movement but still to be able to capture it in a seductive way. It's about the idea of a girl who was caught in a tornado of newspapers but is showcased in slow motion" said Wang.

Is the smell of cocaine elegant?
I like a smell of leather.
So when the Private Blend collection was launched by Tom Ford and one of the collection was called "Tuscan Leather", I rushed into the shop at Isetan to smell it. Then I found the smell so elegant.
.. but now I've found the article about it on the internet that says it smells like cocaine.
I've never smell coke, so I have no idea whether it's true or not.
Is this another sense of humor that Tom Ford commanded?
He was quoted as saying "PRIVATE BLEND is my own scent laboratory: it's where I have the ability to create very special, original fragrances that are unconstrained by the conventions of mainstream scent-making. PRIVATE BLEND is designed with the true fragrance connoisseur n mind."
... Being unconstrained by the conventions... it seems very likely...
He's never disappointed me anyway.
I now cannot wait for his film to come out.

A parasol is no longer just for women.
Parasols designed for men have been enjoying good sales over the recent weeks.
I am now wondering whether to get myself one or not.
Just found a cool umbrella.
