カナダでお世話になったHeleneさんからこんなメールが来ました。
Just to let you know what my friend Sandy from the "Stamp Art Shoppe" did for Japan,
being herself a Japanese American...
I hope one day you will have a chance to meet her...

From her newsletter:
Japan Earthquake/Tsunami Relief Drive
A huge heartfelt thank you to everyone who helped raise money and food
for the victims of the Japan earthquake and tsunami. I am proud to
say it was a huge success! The silent auction of the paper art
lampshades raised $1200. The raffle baskets at the Sacramento Rubber
Stamp Show raised $1600. Then there was all the generous money
donations and the carload of food. The total amount of money donated
to The Sacramento Buddhist Church was just over $5300! Wow! You guys
are the best! I am so proud to be a part of the stamping community of
the Sacramento area. Thank you so very much....you humble me.

地震津波などで被災された方にと、いろいろな企画を行ってなんと5000ドル以上
寄付してくれたそうです。

It would be fine for her to put it on her blog. Let her know that the Sacramento Buddhist Church has a sister church in Kyoto where 100% of donations are sent to help those in Japan.
