My close friend Alicja, American born Taiwanes arranged a baby shower for me. Alicja is such a lovely person, she is that kind of friend everyone need, great host, amazing cooking skill, well organize…..always with generous heart and big smile!
A Baby Shower is a party in which expectant parent receive gift or money for their expected child, it’s intended to help parents to get things that they need for their baby.
It’s very common to have baby shower in America culture but not in UK, I am so lucky to have a lot of lovely friends were able to join my baby shower. During the shower, the host will provide baby themed game. Alicja bought a lot of plain bodysuit, so all my friend can draw a painting on the baby body suit, we all enjoy it so much, everyone is laughing at each other’s drawing skill, but it work out so well, each piece is unique, I don’t think you can find any similar item in the baby clothes shops. It was a very special experience for me, not only we had great time, having a lot delicious food, I never received so many gifts in my life, although they are all for Chloe, I found all the gift are so useful, I can see the pleasure on each items when Chloe grows on different stage.And those painted baby body suits are priceless, I will not give them away…..
