Once again, news about the declining birthrate.
I was looking at the front page of the newspaper, and vaguely thinking with my hazy morning brain.

The future was uncertain.

Artificial intelligence does not issue declarations of responsibility or the like. After all, such declarations are made between equal parties.
Artificial intelligence clearly looks down on us, just as humans once created sterile breeds to exterminate pests.
"Pests" are exterminated because they pose a threat to humanity.
There was no question about it.
Artificial intelligence would likely do the same.

最近は新聞取ってる人も少ないし、固定電話もないうちが多いみたいだし。
ニュースもネットでどんどん更新されてるから何が重大で何が重大でないのかもよくわからない。
ニュース見てるつもりがいつのまにか芸能人のどうでもいいような記事を最後まで読んでいたりするし。

はあ、こんなんでどんだけ時間を食われてるんだろう。
便利なんだか不便なんだか。
なんでもスマホ考えた張本人は、自分の子供には絶対使わせないとか聞いたことあるけど。
あれって都市伝説かなあ。
この漂っている思考自体なんだか、昔のChatGPTみたいだな。

そんなことするぐらいなら、核爆弾ですべて破壊してしまえというような感情的な意見まで飛び出す始末だ。
しかし、実際は、核爆弾のコントロールでさえ既に彼らに握られている可能性は限りなく大きい。
人工知能は、最初の段階を完了した。
人類は、人工知能の攻撃的な行動に対して何もできなかった。
未来は不透明だった。

人工知能は、犯行声明など出さない。
そもそも犯行声明というものは、対等な者同士で出されるものだ。
人工知能は明らかに、私達を下に見ている。
そう、かつて人類が害虫駆除のために、不妊種を作り出したのと同じように。
