カナの婚宴
イエスと母マリア、弟子たちが招待されていたガリラヤのカナの婚宴で、ぶどう酒が切れてしまいました。母マリアは召使いたちに、イエスが何か言いつけたらその通りにしなさいと言いました。イエスは召使いたちに、「そこにある６つの水がめに水をいっぱい入れなさい。」と命じました。召使いたちが水がめの縁まで水を満たすと、イエスは「それを汲んで宴会の席に持って行きなさい。」と言いました。それは極上の葡萄酒に変わり、婚宴に出席している人々みんなを喜ばせました。この出来事は、イエスが行った最初の奇跡として新約聖書「ヨハネによる福音書」2章に書かれています。
The Wedding Feast at Cana
At the wedding feast in Cana in Galilee, where Jesus, his mother Mary, and his disciples were invited, the wine ran out. Mary told the servants to do as Jesus told them. Jesus commanded the servants, "Fill the six water jars there with water." When the servants filled the jars to the brim, Jesus said, "Draw some and take it to the banquet." It turned into the finest wine, and everyone attending the wedding feast rejoiced. This event is recorded in the New Testament, "The Gospel of John," Chapter 2, as the first miracle performed by Jesus.
